Small side table, folding, with rectangular top at salient angles. Its centre has an arabesque of volutes and foliage in marquetry, at the heart of which sits a vase with handles. This fresco is made up of light wood and mahogany inlays, against a background of blackened wood. The set is highlighted by a frame with tab cuts in plating of loupe de thuya. The perimeter of this tray is grounded in "bec de corbin" with gorge. This flying table rests on two pairs of feet turned and moulded, crossed in x, joined by a parshing bar. This verni black wooden footing has the distinction of being retractable, making this folding table simple. We will obviously appreciate the practicality of this table modulable, which does not detract from its refinement, which it owes in particular to its pretty decor de marquetry made with finesse. ******** Period: 19th century. Perfect condition after restoration in our workshop. Vernie finish. Ref: 737 r.
