Wicker basket old bamboo 60s/70s

Rare brown japanese folding basket made of bamboo and fishnet from the 60s. Beautifully made of bamboo and brown cotton thread mesh, the bag is foldable for easy storage and the handles close with a small snap button to hold it in place. This foldable handbag made of antique bamboo from japan from the 1950s/1960s is made with bamboo slats and cotton net. This bag is very decorative with its natural shades, for example to store wool or other light materials or as decoration in the window of a retro shop. The basket is quite sensitive due to the delicate net between the bamboo sticks. This one has been patched up and the threads have been retied in some places, so it is not in impeccable condition but will be perfect for decoration in a bohemian and country atmosphere in the house.
