For sale: a magnificent and large art tapestry from the prestigious Manufacture Jules Pansu (workshops in Halluin, Northern France), a house of excellence certified as an Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant. This is the "Les Sonneurs du Roi" model, woven in Point de Loiselles (a jacquard weave with exceptional relief, perfectly imitating ancient tapestries). The design is inspired by a cartoon from the Brussels workshops (17th century), based on the work of Charles Le Brun and Van der Meulen celebrating the movements of Louis XIV's armies. Origin: Certified by its authenticity label (bolduc) sewn on the back (see photos). Made in the tradition of the Best Craftsmen of France. Material: Very high-quality cotton. Condition: Excellent overall condition. The colours remain very beautiful and vibrant, with no stains or tears. Non-smoking household.
