This sideboard from the 1950s 'Idee Möbel' programme by Erich Stratmann for Oldenburger Möbelwerkstätten impresses with its contrast between a body with new white HPL coating and teak-veneered louvre doors. The strict geometry of the construction is masterfully broken up by the curved stainless steel frame, giving the piece a floating lightness. High-quality materials and precise workmanship characterise this design. A timeless piece that has been carefully restored and is in good vintage condition.
