Designed in Scotland in the early 1970s, this elegant sideboard was created by Tom Robertson and Val Rossi for the renowned cabinet makers A.H. McIntosh, a name long associated with integrity of form and excellence of craftsmanship. The composition is both practical and poised. On the left, a row of three drawers offers generous storage space, with the top drawer carefully lined for cutlery. On the right, a cupboard closed by two simple doors provides discreet space, preserving the clean and uninterrupted rhythm of the facade. The design is distinguished by its elongated and slightly curved handles, which draw the eye along the piece and give it a subtle sculptural grace. Shaped from richly stained teak, the sideboard reveals the natural beauty of the wood, its warm and expressive grain softened by time and careful use. The slender proportions and narrow body enhance its impression of lightness, allowing it to effortlessly integrate into both contemporary and traditional interiors. A refined example of modern Scottish design, where restraint, utility, and sustainable craftsmanship are in perfect harmony. Measurements: Length: 200 cm. Width: 40 cm. Height: 76 cm.
