Louis van Teeffelen wall system for Wébé from the 1960s with secretaire and display cabinet. This modular teak system combines closed and open elements and can be arranged flexibly. The mid century design from the 1960s fits well in a contemporary interior. The wall system was designed by Louis van Teeffelen and produced by Wébé around 1960. The unit is demountable and can be configured as desired. It is made of teak and teak veneer with black metal uprights and brass details. The overall dimensions as shown in the photo are 200 × 260 × 40 cm (H×W×D). The system consists of four black uprights of 200 cm high, a secretaire or bar unit of 40 × 85 × 32 cm (H×W×D), a cabinet with doors of 40 × 85 × 40 cm (H×W×D), a drop-down cabinet of 40 × 85 × 40 cm (H×W×D), a display cabinet of 40 × 85 × 33 cm (H×W×D), one shelf of 32 × 85 cm (D×W), three shelves of 22 × 85 cm (D×W) and a magazine shelf of 40 × 85 cm (D×W). The condition of this wall system is very good, with normal signs of use and some discolouration consistent with age. The piece has been checked and treated with teak oil.
