Old earthenware vase stamped aluminia and signed kf. Decorated with flowers and foliage, in shades of blue, green, yellow and brown. It is 21.5 cm high and about 12 cm wide at the widest. History of the aluminia earthenware factory: the aluminia faience factory dates its history to the year 1862 founded by august schittt (1834 - 1863). In 1868, philip schou took over the factory and transferred production to frederiksberg. In 1882, he bought the royal copenhagen porcelain factory and the two companies merged into one. Earthenware production has lived its own life in the shadow of the growing interest in industrial porcelain production at the royal copenhagen. But the period from 1901 to 1928 became a new period of success under the artistic contribution of chr. Joachim (1870-1943) and harald slott-m. Ller (1864-1937). They created the important works of the danish art nouveau period in the colorist art earthenware of aluminia. Later, nils thorsson brought the factory into the new and final era of the period 1928-1969. This vase is numbered 913 which corresponds to the number of the decoration and 480 which corresponds to the shape and year of manufacture (1906) Very good condition for this vase, just a small accident not very visible on the pass.
