Gobanese finds, 20th century decorative art flea market offers you: original watercolor under glass in an original gilded wood frame representing a ballerina dancer from the 1920s. The work is dated 1924, by the french painter lucien potronat. Lucien potronat (1899-1973), french painter and watercolorist, known under the pseudonym jacques warner. Renowned for his landscapes of provence in the second part of his work, he began in the 1920s with classical or cabaret dancers, some of whom he exhibited at the winter salon of 1933 and at the salon des indépendants of 1941. This work is part of the beginnings of this artist, and moreover rarer than provençal landscapes. The paper condition is very good, some small gilding breaks on the frame. Dimension outside frame 40*26cm total dimension 46*32cm.
