Chest of drawers produced by Søborg Møbelfabrik in the 1950s, designed by Børge Mogensen. Teak veneered structure with solid oak base, six drawers with dovetail joints and integrated handles. Danish chest of drawers from the 1950s designed by Børge Mogensen for Søborg Møbelfabrik, representing one of the most significant collaborations in postwar Scandinavian design. The piece is made of teak veneer, with a structure raised on a solid oak base. The combination of the two woods is particularly visible in the legs, which feature darker end details, a recurring characteristic in some productions of the period. The front is arranged with six drawers, each fitted with integrated carved wooden handles. The الداخلية construction features dovetail joints, a detail that highlights careful craftsmanship and quality production. Børge Mogensen is known for an approach based on functionality, durability, and simplicity in construction. This model clearly reflects those principles, with restrained solutions designed for everyday use. Good condition. May show signs of age. Please pay attention to the photographs. AF1040.
