Vintage ceramic vase - Hand-painted decoration

Vintage vase in crackled earthenware produced by the factory signed Castor model referenced 504. This signature is attributed to Berthold Reiss, a ceramic decorator. An authentic piece from the late Art Deco period (circa 1945-1955). Very graphic design with hand-painted "bulb" patterns. Elegant colour palette: black, soft yellow, and gold highlights. Superb crackled glaze effect typical of ceramics from this era. Good vintage condition, note: a slight chip/discreet flake on the gilding of the neck. (see detail photo) The interior is clean.
