Bubble glass chandelier by Kamenický Šenov, Czechoslovakia, 1970s

A sculptural glass bubble chandelier designed and produced by Kamenický Šenov in Czechoslovakia in the 1970s. The chandelier consists of clusters of hand-blown glass bubbles mounted on a chrome metal structure, forming a bold and elegant lighting centrepiece. Kamenický Šenov is internationally recognised for its glassmaking heritage, and this piece illustrates the innovative spirit of Czechoslovak lighting design from the late 20th century. The layered glass elements create dynamic reflections and an atmospheric glow when illuminated. The chandelier has been professionally cleaned and polished. It remains in its original vintage condition with visible signs of age consistent with use.
