Stool in solid wood waxed oak rustic

The stool is in very good condition, it is sturdy and well built, strong and stable. There is no game in the assemblies, no breakage. Note a burst of wood on the stop of one foot, downwards, visible in one of the photos of details. The stool is made of solid oak, it was simply waxed with natural beeswax and for maintenance it will be enough to rub it from time to time with a soft cloth. The feet are of chamfered square section, 4.5 cm side. The top has rounded edges, and measures 31.5 cm X 31.5 cm, by 3 cm thick. The seat height, 45 cm from the floor, corresponds to a seat height of a standard chair. The top has two slight darker spots, quite diffuse, it is of one piece, and does not have assemblies, which is very pure, and gives the drawing a beautiful sobriety. It can serve as a seat, a piece of sofa, a bedside, or a harness, to present a beautiful ceramic or a sculpture for example. Typical french work, reconstruction style, 50s.
