Pair of antique brass candlesticks with a side push system, probably from the late 19th / early 20th century. Each candlestick features a cylindrical shaft with a small sliding button that allows the candle to be raised or removed more easily. Beautifully simple and classic shape, with a round base, flared neck, and lovely golden patina of the brass. A beautiful piece of antique decoration, ideal for a table, a fireplace, a console, or a country house / chic flea market atmosphere. Generally good antique condition. Signs of use, patina, small marks, oxidation, and verdigris inside the shafts, visible in the photos. The mechanisms are present and functional.
