Scandinavian teak table J. Andersen

Superb and original teak coffee table designed by J. Andersen for CFC Silkeborg, Denmark. Here is a stunning, convivial coffee table with guaranteed effect. We love the elegance and simplicity of these timeless pieces. It is made in Denmark, designed by Johannes Andersen for CFC Silkeborg circa 1960. The piece consists of a single curved piece of solid teak for the top and rests on two T-shaped teak legs. The edges are rounded, creating a beautiful asymmetrical and welcoming silhouette. The piece is in very good original condition. Like all our treasures, it has been cleaned, restored, and revarnished in our workshops. For a bit of history: Johannes Andersen was deeply attracted to organic shapes and fluid lines. He always preferred imaginative and streamlined designs with rounded edges and fluid contours over the austere Bauhaus-style forms of the time. 55 cm 160 cm 70 cm. The piece is in very good original condition. Like all our treasures, it has been cleaned, restored, and revarnished in our workshops. The manufacturer's stamp and model number are present.
