This extraordinary – newly assembled – vase lamp is based on an original ceramic object by Cari Zalloni for Steuler Keramik, from the 1970s with the model number 5101. Cari Zalloni is one of the most influential designers of West German ceramic modernism. For Steuler, he designed iconic, architecturally inspired forms with clear geometry and intense glaze gradients. He also designed for Fohr, WMF, and Goebel (PAN Keramik) - his sunglasses brand Cazal is internationally renowned, especially in the USA. The base of this lamp is sculptural and powerful: three stacked, square elements with soft edges – an almost brutalist design language. The glaze shifts between petrol, turquoise, and deep blue with gentle colour gradients – typical for Steuler in the 1970s and highly sought after today. A popular collector's item. Object-friendly upcycling. The conversion to a lamp is carried out completely object-friendly: • no drilling. • no irreversible alterations. • original collector's value is preserved. The fixture is anchored via an internal fixation system with cork and clamp. The base has also been weighted for stability. The opening is sealed with a high-quality brass plate, and the threaded rod is covered with brass. Technology – wireless. This lamp operates wirelessly with modern battery technology: • E27 socket. • rechargeable LED light source. • warm white light. • RGB colour options. • runtime of up to 14 hours. • charging via USB • operation via included remote control. • no visible cables. • maximum freedom in spatial presentation. The cylindrical shade from Roomlight Studio is covered with a high-quality, colour-intensive fabric. The expressive floral pattern in petrol, red, cream, and turquoise reflects the depth of the glaze and enhances the 70s character of the base. Light effect: warm, atmospheric, and present. As an accent lamp on a sideboard or console, it unfolds.
