Extraordinary and spectacular table lamp, attributed to the 1970s production of Romeo Rega, the pinnacle of Italian design and decorative luxury of the time. The piece stands out for its geometric and rigorous architecture that plays on transparency, volumes, and the chromatic contrast between the warm tones of polished brass and the mauve/amethyst shades of lucite (plexiglass). The large transparent cube lampshade in mauve houses a cruciform internal structure in brass that supports the light points, creating a visual effect of suspension and three-dimensionality. The stem features the same colour palette through the alternation of textured cubic elements and transparent details, resting on a solid square base in brass.
