Vintage Italian dessert in olive and chestnut wood.

Elegant vintage Italian serving trolley with two shelves, made of solid wood and characterised by very fine craftsmanship. The shelves are made of chestnut wood, while the wheels, supports, and numerous turned elements are made of olive wood, whose grain adds a lot of character to the whole. The trolley rests on two large wooden spoked wheels, fitted with fine rubber tyres, and on a small swivel caster in brass. This three-wheel construction makes it particularly light, manoeuvrable, and pleasant to move. The two levels are surrounded by small turned wooden balustrades. The high handle, also crafted, allows for easy movement. With a depth of only 39 cm, it is surprisingly unobtrusive and can easily be placed against a wall, near a sofa, or next to a table. A beautiful piece of Italian furniture from the mid-20th century, both decorative and truly functional. It can be used as a serving trolley, bar cart, side table, or for serving drinks and tableware. The trolley has been restored in our workshop and is in good vintage condition. It naturally retains some signs of time and use. Dimensions: Height: 79 cm. Length: 70 cm without handle / 80 cm with handle. Depth: 39 cm.
