An old sideboard from the 1920s, featuring glass doors. Made of solid oak, we love its details, mouldings, skirting boards, and trims that make it a unique and singular piece of furniture. Very elegant, the design of the glass is beautiful. The piece has been sanded, treated, lightly stained, and varnished. Some imperfections remain, with a few missing trims in places and small details of the skirting as well... These are not very noticeable overall and contribute to its authenticity. A shelf on the left can be movable and adjustable in height. The shelf on the right is fixed. Another shelf could be added if needed. The back of the piece has been preserved in its original patina, with the typical "wood effect" varnish. It has chipped in places. The top slightly bows on the left side. This piece is very old and obviously shows defects due to its age. The doors have a handle-lock system; the system does not have a true "fixed" closing function, but the doors fit snugly once closed. Two panes of glass are original and old, while two panes have been replaced. Please refer to the numerous photos for the general condition, possible defects, patina, etc. - Total dimensions - L 190 X D 40 and 38.5 X H 90 cm. Dimensions of the right shelf, top and bottom - L 91 X D 30 X H 51 and 14 cm. Dimensions of the left shelf, top and bottom - L 86 X D 30 X H 32 cm.
