A beautiful set of six coffee cups and their saucers, made of glazed ceramic, with a dark burgundy brown base and a decoration in old rose tones with a touch of duck blue. They are not signed, but it is a well-known and iconic model from the production of Vallauris. They are part of a coffee service, of which only the coffee pot was marked underneath (it is the subject of another listing). This practice was common at the time, where only one piece of a set was signed. Their shape is simple, with beautiful frothy effects, and the shades of old rose, duck blue, and brown create a lovely luminous harmony. The cups and saucers are all in very, very good condition, with no chips or cracks. Exceptional shine. The interior is in perfect condition.
