Elegant antique sugar bowl from the 19th-20th century, circa 1880-1930, made of silver-plated metal resting on a circular pedestal, with two elegant side handles and a lovely lid. The shape is balanced and classic, decorated with beaded friezes running along the body and base, typical of French productions of the time. Visible hallmarks under the base: "PT", a framed cat's head, a rather uncommon hallmark of old French silverware. Approximately 17 cm in height with the lid, 16 cm in width with the handles, maximum diameter about 10 to 11 cm. Very good condition, with no loss of silver, showing cleaning patina, fine micro-scratches on the surface, and a few discreet signs of use, black marks inside. Weighs just over 300 g.
