Table service in porcelain from Mehun – Charles Pillivuyt & Cie – circa 1900-1920 – 6 settings, 17 pieces. Beautiful French porcelain table service from the Charles Pillivuyt & Cie factory in Mehun-sur-Yèvre (mark "Mehun – CP&Cie – France" on the back). It features a lovely Belle Époque decor: a wide sun yellow frieze adorned with white flowers with red centers and green foliage, framed by a beaded black line and a golden border. The handles and the lid of the vegetable dish are gilded. Composition: 6 flat plates. 6 deep plates. 2 oval serving dishes (2 sizes) 1 sauce boat on a tray. 1 covered vegetable dish with two gilded handles. 1 footed compote. Dimensions: flat plates Ø [] cm, deep plates Ø [] cm, large dish [__ × ] cm, vegetable dish [ × __] cm. Condition: very good overall condition, with no visible chips. Wear on the gilding on some edges (notably the sauce boat and dishes), normal for its age. No cracks to my knowledge [to be verified before publication]. See all photos. An ideal set for a chic and colorful table, to complement a mismatched service, or for decoration.
