“Tokyo” bench for Nordiska Kompaniet in oak, slatted top, tapered inverted U-frames, 1960s production. “Tokyo” bench, designed in 1962 by Yngvar Sandström for Nordiska Kompaniet (NK) and produced by NK:s Verkstäder in Nyköping in the early–mid 1960s. Solid oak structure with slatted top fixed to full side rails; base defined by two subtly canted, tapered inverted U-frames. Original maker’s label beneath the seat. Good condition.
