Andy armchair by Pierre Paulin

Dimensions – 82 X 80 cm. Seat height – 40 cm. Total height – 73 cm. In its original condition and very good state, with some normal signs of wear over time and the chrome metal slightly pitted. Reissued by Ligne Roset, the price of a new model is around 4, 000 euros each. Stunning armchair by Pierre Paulin, model Andy, created in 1962 to reinterpret the Florence Knoll sofa (1954), with softer contours. It raises the chrome steel legs inside the armrests, at the front and back, for elegance from both the front and back of the chair. This is an old edition for Artifort. This armchair is sold with an invoice certifying its authenticity. A second armchair is available but has a tear in the leather at the backrest.
