Elephant bookends

A pair of vintage exotic wood bookends carved to represent two elephants facing each other, with stylised book spines. Asian handcrafted work from the 1960s-1970s, likely made of rosewood (sheesham). Beautiful warm patina and very elegant decorative lines, perfect for a bookshelf or console. One tusk is missing from one of the elephants, but it has no real visual impact once in place. Dimensions: L 20 × D 10 × H 15.5 cm.
