Very beautiful french carpet of beautiful size, old, wool velvet on lin yarn foundation, hand-knotted in sedan in the ardennes. A vintage rug with oriental carpet-inspired patterns. A label on the upside down certifies its origin "point of sedan". A model of very high quality, very very patinated, net lacks of lin yarn on the edges as well as a clear patina of the yarns of wool in different places that reveals the foundation of lin, examples visible on the photos. An assertive patina that gives it a loft spirit aspect. Carpet fully cleaned by shampouinage, comes fold. L: 200cm - p: 295cm.
