Louis XV style chair wood and gilding

Beautiful chair in louis XV style. Perfectly preserved carved wood with a superb sparkle. Gilding on the wood slightly erased but still visible. Re-strapled to new recently by the craftsman "the base of the carpet" in paris 10. This work helped to identify the stamp of the original garment workshop (based in chartres). According to the antiquarian chartois "lassaussois" the period of manufacture is certainly in the second part of the 19th century. The seat of the chair has been relaxed by the weather but remains very correct. The interior of the seat is made of hair (not moss), attesting to its artisanal provenance.
