Stoneware vase signed Pointu

Glazed stoneware vase signed by Léon Pointu, the most famous of a lineage of French ceramists (notably his father Jean). Drip decoration (typical of the artist) in bronze (golden brown) on a nearly matte duck blue/petrol background, with a classic line, 1930s Art Deco.
