Set of 4 vintage hobnail pressed glass oyster plates

Very stylish and vintage: set of 4 vintage hobnail oyster plates (embossed pearl pattern edge) in pressed glass with a retro touch on your seafood tables. Each plate has 6 stylized oyster shell-shaped slots surrounding a central slot for lemon or other. Their translucent hue and rich texture make them real pieces of character. Probably produced in France between the 1950s and 1970s, these pieces recall the creations of the Bayel or Portieux glassworks, halfway between utilitarian elegance and retro design. Good used condition, some traces of age with small chips on the edges and wear of the glass in one place on a plate (see photos). Quite heavy due to the fairly thick glass. Diameter 24.5 cm. Perfect for your seafood platters, your summer tables or as decorative objects in vintage kitchens.
