Sculptural group in white saxon porcelain representing two goats facing each other in a dynamic posture, around a tree trunk on a naturalistic base. The realistic modeling highlights the tension of the bodies and the texture of the fur. The work is signed "röhle" intaglio, probably friedrich elias röhle, a sculptor active in saxon factories at the turn of the 20th century. The underside also bears a blue underglaze mark, a crown surmounting an "n", typical of german productions inspired by the capodimonte style. Dimensions: approximately 31 cm long, 12 cm deep, 23 cm high. The whole is in good general condition, with some discreet defects noted for transparency: – one hind leg has been properly restored (visible in the photos) – some small losses on floral and leafy elements of the base (berries, leaves) – no cracks or structural breakage. An expressive, well-executed piece, ideal for display in a window or as a classic decorative element.
