Vintage Eames Herman Miller DSS side chairs in parchment

Set of 4 all original dss side chairs designed by charles eames and made by herman miller in the late 50s/early 60s. Original fibreglass weave shells in parchment / off white on their original h bases. Dimensions: Height 80cm. Depth 48cm. Width 47cm. Seat height 45cm. The contemporary version of this chair is made of polypropylene, which in our opinion, is not a patch on these original fibreglass models, which age beautifully. All with original herman miller stamp. Mounted on their orignal h bases (these chairs can alternatively be supplied on walnut dowel bases, maple or oak bases, if you would prefer). In very good overall condition, with just a couple of very small scuffs and marks here and there to the edges of the shells, in keeping with their age, but nothing too noticeable. A stunning set of chairs - a totally classic, very collectable set. The seats and bases will be dismantled for safer shipping but can be bought fully assembled if so desired - please let us know in this case and we will let you have a shipping quote.
