Beautiful brown beechwood atelier or desk chair from the german brand albert stoll from the 1920s. In 1871 albert stoll I (1836-1897) started the chair factory 'stoll & klock' together with max klock as second partner in waldshut. After klock left the company in 1879, the company called itself 'albert stoll'. When the company's founder dies at the age of 61 in 1897, he leaves behind his wife, three daughters, and his 15-year-old son albert stoll II. His widow, bertha, manages the company as a successful businesswoman, popularly earning her the name 'the chair maker'. Albert stoll II was later put in charge of his family's chair factory. This model was designed by albert stoll II in the 1920s. The backrest is equipped with a particularly large spring, for a comfortable seat. This chair is cleaned, lacquered and covered with a layer of wax. The seat height of this chair is a minimum of 40 cm and a maximum of 51 cm.
