Pierre Paulin Early F444 Lounge Chair for Artifort 1963

Early first edition f444 lounge chair, designed by pierre paulin in 1963 for artifort. Known for its minimalist elegance and ergonomic functionality, this chair exemplifies paulin’s ability to blend innovative materials with sleek forms. The chair has a heavy stainless steel frame with a black metal cross bar and still the original patinated natural saddle leather seat. The leather is colored and stained by age and usage. Very rare to find an early edition in its original leather. The chair is in good original condition with a strong patina to the leather. The frame is still perfect. The leather has two minimal tears on top of the middle part of the leather, where it meets the upper part, as visible in the last picture. Furthermore good.
