Asparagus service in earthenware, trompe-l'œil decoration, vintage 1970s-1980s.

Charming asparagus serving set in barbotine earthenware, consisting of its rectangular dish and curved draining tray, vintage from the 1970s-1980s, probably of Italian production. Decorated with a trompe-l'œil design of green asparagus. The draining tray, featuring five holes, rests on four small feet and fits into its matching dish. Overall in very good condition, with a firing crack on one edge of the underside of the dish, an original defect, as well as slight natural crazing of the glaze.
