Mid century retro vintage teak small sideboard by Stonehill 1960

Mid century retro vintage teak sideboard 1960. An absolute stunning example of a mid century design piece. This outstanding high quality designed sideboard was produced in the 1960's by stonehill. Stonehill was not only known for their high quality produced furniture but also for their stylish designs and were very heavely influenced by danish designers popular at the time. With its organically formed wooden handles it gives an unmistakleble style to the piece. One double door cabinet to the left side and three drawers to the right give this piece enough space for storage. A very unique and stylish piece for every home. In a very good used vintage condition, with the typical sign of use. W 137cm X d 44cm X h 73cm. Steinberg arrived in london from tarnopol, austria in 1895, aged 13. He worked as an apprentice cabinet maker and in 1910 set up his own business producing bedroom furniture. The company became stonehill furniture after the second world war and a public company in 1964.
