Carved stone head sculpture

Very nice carved stone head from the 50s. One thinks of a Scandinavian deity or a Greek Poseidon but it may as well be a patriarch's face. Very nice hair-sized work. The face of this sculpture is made of white stone gradually turning into dark pink stone (perhaps granite?) on the back. Its size is close to the real although a little smaller, this sculpture is very heavy, about ten kilos. On its exotic wooden base. Atypical and very interesting sculpture, 40 centimeters high.
