Orientalist watercolor signed, authentic, late 19th century. perfect condition

Watercolor in perfect condition representing ancient ruins at the gates of the Algerian Sahara towards the city of Biskra (south-east of Algeria). This work on thick paper, late nineteenth century is of remarkable quality. This watercolor has been cleaned, it is very well made in excellent condition. Note an old frame in rosewood (rare) without any treatment of the wood while retaining its natural color. This thin and elegant frame is very robust. Dimensions with frame: 47 cm X 37 cm. Dimensions of watercolor only: 42 cm X 27 cm. Watercolor signed V. Porre for Victor Porrè, painter referenced on artprice. Technical details: This watercolor is perfectly authentic. It has been completely cleaned and appears visually as new. It is in no way a reproduction but an original and authentic work. The marie-louise (passes everywhere) is deliberately not a marie-louise of the "Western" type, that is to say a rectangle, because the work is not Western, the work is orientalist. The choice to attach only horizontal strips allows free rein to the imagination of the side landscape.
