A stunning and rare pair of double candle holders (two-arm) in the iconic Mid-Century Modern style, manufactured by the renowned French art pottery studio Verceram (Montreuil, Paris) during the 1950s–1960s. These highly sculptural pieces feature a dramatic, asymmetrical crescent silhouette where one candle-holder arm sweeps up to a higher peak than the other, creating a beautiful sense of movement. They showcase Verceram's signature high-gloss flambé drip glaze, which blends a vibrant ruby red with deep, rich chocolate brown and frothy cream/white accents. With their striking space-age yet elegant design, this matched pair makes an exceptional decor statement on a Scandinavian sideboard, coffee table, or mantelpiece. Condition: • Excellent vintage condition with no post-manufacture chips or cracks. • Please note there is a small, minor indentation on the rim of one candle holder cup (see photo). This is a smooth, fully glazed-over factory production flaw from the original kiln firing process and does not affect the structural integrity or beauty of the piece. • The colors remain incredibly bright, and the glaze has retained its original high-gloss shine. • Fully authenticated on the base: stamped with model number 6183 and sizing mark 28 on the unglazed foot ring. Length (Tip to tip): 30.5 cm / 12 inches. The lower peak measures at 14.5 cm. The higher peak measures at 18.5 cm. Base Footprint: 13 cm × 7.5 cm / 5.1 inches × 3 inches.
