✨ DESCRIPTION: A magnificent and rare pair of vintage chairs from the 1950s with a distinctly modernist and rockabilly look. With their unique "gondola" silhouette and open backrest, these chairs will add an incomparable retro touch around a dining table, in front of a desk, or as accent chairs in a living room. Their original sky blue faux leather upholstery, combined with white piping and blonde wood tapered legs, offers a typical contrast of Mid-Century decor. Comfort & Quality: High-end vintage seat with a spring and strap frame (see photo), providing excellent comfort and very good durability. 📋 TECHNICAL SHEET ✅ ORIGIN: France – Mid-Century modern design, very close to the lines of Pierre Guariche for Airborne or Steiner. ✅ ERA: 1950. ✅ MATERIALS: Tapered legs in varnished solid wood, padded seat and backrest covered in azure blue faux leather/vinyl with white piping, finished with upholstery nails. Internal structure with traditional springs. ✅ CONDITION: Good state of preservation for their age (visible from all angles, see photos). The faux leather is well stretched, with no major tears. The wooden structures are stable and robust. Some light signs of wear on the faux leather and varnish of the legs attest to their authenticity. ✅ DIMENSIONS: Back height: 74 cm / Seat height: 43 cm / Width: 45 cm / Depth: 43 cm.
