Exceptional Art Deco serpentine nightstands in walnut, showcasing masterful craftsmanship and dramatic materials throughout. This piece features richly matched flamed walnut veneer on the front of the serpentine cabinet, accentuated by original aged brass hardware with exquisite patina. The furniture is adorned with elaborate hand-carved floral and foliate motifs, a moulded apron, and decorative cabriole legs ending in curled feet. From above, we can see the rectangular top with gently rounded corners and a protruding moulded edge. An exceptionally beautiful and figured grey marble top adds further sophistication and completes this imposing design. The condition is very good for its age, despite some minimal scratches due to age and use. The patina is super splendid. It has been well made with great craftsmanship.
