Jean Vollet (born in 1935) is known for his pointillist and impressionist landscape paintings, as well as his lithographs. He was born in Montayral and after studying art at the École d'Arts Graphiques de Bordeaux, where he earned a diploma in lithography, he moved to Paris in 1962. There, he devoted himself entirely to painting and began exhibiting his works in 1964 at the Salon des Indépendants. He has since exhibited successfully in Paris, New York, Tokyo, Beverly Hills, and Cannes.
