Rare small coffee or side table by Mathieu Matégot (1910 - 2001), made under license from Artimeta Soest, in the Netherlands, a firm which produced Matégot models under the name "Original Mategot Products" in the 1950s. Square format, 4 tapered legs of square section, perforated trefoiled sheet metal top, early 1950s. Good condition, light traces of surface oxidation. Perfect at the bedside or end of the sofa.
