Mid-Century Console in Marble and Brass by Pier Luigi Colli – Italy,

For sale, authentic Italian console in neoclassical / Mid-Century style, attributed to the famous designer Pier Luigi Colli (produced in the 1950s). An identical model in perfect condition is listed on the specialised site Pamono. Materials: Original brass base with slender lines, yellow/onyx marble top with soft cream tones. Dimensions: Approximately 107-120 cm in length. Condition of the top (see photos): The top has been damaged (cleanly broken in two) and then re-glued. The joint line runs through the middle of the console. It is visible up close but the whole is perfectly solid, smooth to the touch in most areas and completely stable. Structure: The brass base is sound with its original patina. Ideal for a perfect restoration project (polishing by a stonemason) or to be used as is as a stunning design piece with a history. The price is significantly reduced accordingly.
