Large, very artistic polychrome sandstone bowl

Large, very artistic polychrome sandstone bowl. It dates from the 1950s, at the height of artistic research in french ceramics. The hand-mounted shape is irregular but masterful. The abundance of colored enamel runs, graphic signs, stains and matte and shiny effects brilliantly demonstrate that this is an exceptional work. It is not signed. Condition: no cracks, no missing chips, no restorations. Due to age, the varnish is cracked at the bottom of the cup and sometimes on the sides. The base is not enameled below.
