Antique English plate BWM & Co – Rose & Ivy pattern – registered 1868 – blue and black decoration.

Very beautiful antique English plate signed BWM & Co, model Rose & Ivy, with its elegant floral decoration framing the central basin in a very 19th-century spirit. On the reverse, there is a recessed mark dated 1868, as well as a recessed marking attributed to Brown-Westhead (partial reading of the stamp, see photos). Attractive contrasting blue-black decoration on a white background, with a wavy edge and a lovely decorative presence. A piece that works well both as antique tableware and as wall decoration. A charming plate to complement an old English service or to create a lovely wall of dishes. Generally in good condition for its age. No chips or cracks reported, but there are visible signs of wear, small marks of time, some cooking/use defects, and scratches in the centre (see photos). Beautiful antique patina. Weight: 540 g.
