Goffredo Reggiani (1929-2004) was an influential Italian designer and entrepreneur, founder in 1957 of Reggiani Illuminazione, a brand that became a reference in European lighting design. Known for his avant-garde and futuristic aesthetic, Reggiani was a major figure in the Space Age movement of the 1960s and 1970s, using industrial materials such as chrome-plated steel, opal glass, and teak to create pieces with geometric and sculptural forms.
