As rare as it is pretty, this braided straw handle basket is made of spirals from natural fibres for a very natural and solid look (straw and bramble splints) - typical of the charente. The handle is reinforced (covered metal) hence the flared shape at the cove attachment. (see photo) State: in its juice - wears the marks of time but very solid.beautiful patina.
