Freestanding executive desk by Oswald Vermaercke for V-Form, 1960s

Beautiful writing desk designed by Oswald Vermaercke for V-Form in Belgium around 1960. Made of teak wood with great details such as the door handles and tapered legs. It has three drawers on the left and one large drawer and a tablet on the right side. This desk is from the same series as the 'Paola' sideboards and is rarely offered. Oswald Vermaercke was influenced by renowned Danish designers such as Arne Vodder. In very nice restored condition with small remaining traces of use.
