Antique hand-painted Provençal radassier – Straw seat

Authentic antique Provençal radassier, emblem of traditional southern furniture. This double bench in solid wood is decorated with an original cream and blue paint, with lovely hand-painted floral motifs on the crosspieces. The paint shows visible chips and wear, witnesses of the past. These natural marks form a very beautiful patina, which accentuates the rustic charm and authenticity of the piece. The woven rye straw seat is in excellent condition, solid and comfortable. The base is stable, the joints are sound.
