Domino game - Stone + oak board

A handmade stoneware domino set, so beautiful that you will leave it as a decorative item on your coffee table. Each of the 28 dominoes is crafted slowly and with care, making each set unique. Every tile goes through a long series of meticulous steps: hand cutting, drying, polishing, patiently engraving the dots of the numbers and lines, drying again, polishing again, drying over and over... Then the first firing, sanding, cleaning, glazing, the second firing, and finally a last sanding to achieve a tactile yet pleasant finish. Each domino is signed on the back. This process is repeated for the 28 handmade dominoes, one by one, requiring hours of meticulous work and, above all, patience. No two sets are identical. The slight variations in size, thickness, and glaze are natural and intentional, adding to the charm and authenticity of the game. The presentation tray made of French oak is also handmade, designed and crafted in the workshop to complement the natural look of the stoneware. Each tray is cut, sanded, and then hand-oiled with linseed oil. It is never perfectly uniform. The grain, hue, and marks of the wood vary, giving each board its unique character.
