50s metal desk sorter

Desk sorter in khaki lacquered metal (original) brand ad. Weick (partial logo on the side). The sides are equipped with slides that allow you to use the sorter either by shifting the 5 levels in stairs or superimposed (the slides work very well). In 1893, the photographer adolphe weick took over a printing company in st dié in the vosges and developed it with the manufacture of thematic photographs (tourism, daily life, military life...): he became the 1st publisher of illustrated postcards in france. The number of photographs published by the weick company is estimated at between 25, 000 and 20, 000 of which 16, 000 are listed and constitute a remarkable heritage fund (acquired in part by the city of st dié). Adolphe weick's son took over the company in 1918 after the death of his father and diversified the activity by developing a stationery and office goods branch. Materials: lacquered metal.
